Wow I can't believe that this is the final week for this class. I think this has been a very good class. I liked the set up of the class, and it was very clear what needed to be done for the class. I learned a lot from this class, and I really enjoyed it!

Week 7
Well this week is going by in a whirlwind! I am going to keep this brief since I have many other things to get done! I think out of this week's reading, Mrs. Dalloway was my favorite. It was a good novel, and I enjoyed reading it. Clarissa is such an interesting character. She is overly concerned with what others think, and she scrutinizes life in general. Anyways, I liked how the story only took place over a day; I thought that was interesting. Overall, it was a good piece of literature!

Week 6
So I am trying to stay ahead of schedule this week so that I will have plenty of time to work on web page this weekend! This weeks reading was very good, I thought. I guess I like those romantic poems though! My favorite was "When You Are Old." It is such a sweet poem, and I hope that I will one day find true love like that, and that I will be able to relate to those things when I am old and gray! Also, I really like Yeats' style of writing. It is fairly easy to read, and I like his poetry. Well I guess that is all I have to say!

Week 5
It feels so glorious to say that this is week 5!! We're over halfway done! Anyhoo, so the novel we read this week was really good. I'm glad that I have been enjoying the reading for this class so far, it makes it a lot easier to discuss it. I think it is always so interesting to think about the conditions of that era, and try to put yourself in Pip's shoes. The story really came alive to me. I really liked Dickens writing style and how everything came together. Also, I've heard that Dickens had two different endings for the novel; now that is intriguing.

Week 4
Well I am happy to think that the fourth week of school is already coming to a close! Halfway through with this class!! This week has been stressful; I spent most of it at home and sick! Anways, out of this week's readings the Elizabeth Browning sonnet was my favorite. I think this poem really speaks for a lot of girls everywhere, and even today. We all long to have guys show us the affection that she talks about in her poem. I think something that I am learning in this class is that even though the poetry is older, it still can be related to our lives today. Well guess that is all I have to say for today!

Week 3
Well this week has been crazy busy for me. I got my hair dyed dark, me and my roommates are rushing the Christian sorority on campus, had a couple tests, basically lots of business!!! I am so glad that I started reading Frankenstein last weekend, or I wouldn't have had time to finish it I'm sure! I really liked this week's reading. It was definitely not what I expected, but I enjoyed it. I think that I will write my first essay over Frankenstein (which reminds me that I need to get started on that paper!). I hope everyone is having a good week!!!

Week 2
Well I can't believe that it is already Saturday. This week has gone by really fast, and I am realizing what a slacker I have been this whole week!! Now I have to spend my entire Saturday afternoon doing homework :( I have a lot to do for this class still! I'm still getting the hang of using all these websites. Also, I'm not really a big poetry fan, so I find some of this reading difficult. However, I think out of this week's poetry, "When We Two Parted" was my favorite to read.
